Clear the Clutter with The Clutter Doctor

Is there a room in your home that drives you crazy - a room you wish you could organize once and for all?

Professional organizer Carleen Eve Fischer Hoffman, owner of The Clutter Doctor, Inc., in East Longmeadow, wants to help you do just that – so she’s holding the “It’s Driving Me Crazy!” Contest.  Reminder Publications is a sponsor of the contest.

If you want the chance to have The Clutter Doctor organize your chosen room - for free - you will have to submit a story about the room. The “It’s Driving Me Crazy!” story must explain your frustration with the room and its affect on your life. If your story is chosen as the winning story, you will win free sessions with The Clutter Doctor. She will work with you until your room is organized.

The deadline to submit your story and two photographs is Friday, June 2.  The winner will be announced Monday, June 26.

Contest Rules

“It’s Driving Me Crazy” Contest is open to anyone 21 years of age or older who needs help in organizing one specific room in the house. The winner will receive the help of Carleen Eve Fischer Hoffman, The Clutter Doctor, who is a professional organizer. Renovations and the purchase of items are not part of the contest.

If you are interested in this valuable offer, please submit two photographs and a story about the room that is driving you crazy.  The “It’s Driving Me Crazy” story can be serious, humorous, sad or any other emotion the room brings out in you.  The Clutter Doctor wants to understand your frustration, what you hope to do with the room and the affect the room has on your life.

Entries must be postmarked by June 2 and mailed to The Clutter Doctor, “Its Driving Me Crazy!” Contest, c/o Reminder Publications, 280 North Main St., East Longmeadow, MA 01028.  The photographs, which will not be returned, must be identified with your name, address and telephone number.

The Clutter Doctor will review all the submissions and narrow them down to three finalists.  The week of June 12, Reminder Publications will run the stories submitted by the three finalists and ask the public to vote for the winner.

The winner will be announced Monday, June 26 and will meet with The Clutter Doctor the following week to talk about the scope of the project and schedule the first session.  During the organizing session, The Clutter Doctor will use available resources in the home, and may recommend the purchase of specific items to organize the room, but the purchase of the items are not required or covered by the contest.  The cost of any purchased items is the responsibility of the winner.

By entering the contest, the winner is agreeing to publicity opportunities which may include photos, TV coverage and press interviews, and a contest sign in the front yard.

This contest is sponsored by Reminder Publications.
